It never really took me as a show. I think I watched halfway into season 2, the supporting cast was great, Dave was pretty decent, but the story lingered somewhere between Seinfeld and curb your enthusiasm, without ever hitting the subtle notes that made either of those two able to last.
He hasn’t had his real life season 4 to see where it should go yet. That said I really liked the show.
