I really wish I could stop seeing this as one of the top comments in every single thread on this topic, seriously. Justice is slow and you’d really want it to be that way if you were on trial. You would want time to do things properly. That is what is going on here.

The difference is when justice is slow for us we’re spending all that time in jail. Trump is living carefree while all this time passes. People aren’t just tired of Trump not being in jail in general, people are tired of seeing another old rich white dude having no consequence.

That’s never going to change. If people keep getting hung up on that, then we really will not have progress as a society. Accept that life isn’t fair and that people can pay to win. Change that. Getting stuck on that causes people to just give up.

If I was going to be a cereal pooper (I’m not, for the record) I would practice a whole lot because I wouldn’t want to mess up and kick the bowl or get shit on myself or otherwise ruin the mission like that. So I’m sure with repetition I’d eventually become a hands-free expert.

In honing the craft I’d become a serial cereal pooper.

Yeah, how dare we desire punishment for crimes that would have put literally anyone else in prison?

That’s some creative writing you got there. Do you often feel the need to make shit up about people?

I read the article but I think I might be a little too stoned rn, Just got the kiddo down for bed and boy was it a day. So I’ve loaded a fairly nice sized bowl. So what would the benefit of throwing out the entire testimony by the person if they lied? How would that be bad for Trump? I really don’t think I understand.

Yes, the CFO of trump org pleaded guilty to lying in court and the judge is asking the trump attorneys if there is any reason why he shouldn’t throw out testimony that’s in favor of trump. Basically if there was something that had conflicting testimony he’d have to decide what the truth is, but now the judge can assume it was bullshit.

Tl;Dr the head finance guy for trump org is a liar and anything good he said in the trial is invalid.

I think that the big point here is that there are really very few people who can/will testify on Trump’s behalf, and one of those people has lost all credibility.

Based on history, I’d say you’d have to bet that way, yeah.

But I think it’s gonna be on appeal, not from Engoron. He seems to be sick of Trump’s shit.
