I totally get that they’re “poisoning the well” on these items, I’ve been carefully watching things like this since 2014, but realistically it’s the media that reports it like it’s something normal, rather than calling out the lies, it’s the media that enables it by not making a bigger deal about fact checking and retractions, and it’s the media who keeps Trump in the news cycle, they’re the enablers that are going to cost us our democracy this year.
