Minor bug, it’s a bit jarring when it happens.
It doesn’t happen every time, but it’s specifically when you scroll past the top comment. It jumps me to the heading for ‘section 4’ in the post.

My guess was that it has something to do with the images or the length of the post

Huh. Jerboa. I didn’t expect that. Granted, that was like the first app I saw when I first heard of Lemmy last year. Sync and Boost are working well for me, and they have really good design, especially Sync. Voyager looks pretty good too with gestures, like Sync has. If Boost would add gestures, Sync would be in trouble for me. I paid for Boost, but Sync is a little bit heavily priced, especially since it lacks some features I’d like to see.
Similar for me, and my guess is that a lot of people found an app that worked and they didn’t feel the need to explore other apps.
I gave a bit to each app I used, including Sync, but the baseline is pretty expensive
