Jokes aside, I’ve never understood the idea that God affects sporting events. God gave dominion over the world to humans. We ran the world into the ground and caused all this suffering. Yet, God keeps its promise for us to have free will and build our own world.

But he’ll break that promise to make sure the shitpissers beat the asspullers in the big game. Nope. We’re stuck with the decisions of our fellow human beings. That’s free will on a mass scale.

No, if they’re admitting they’ve cheated, we should believe them.

Any time an athlete says Jesus/God etc helped them win a race, score a point, set a new World Record and so on, they should be banned from mainstream competition for doping.

“Sorry sir, but we believe your world record time was deity assisted”

(Optional) Afterwards, set up a subsection of each sport with “deity doping” permitted, to find out which God is best and who they like the most.

Hey hey hey now, I’ll not have you disparaging the asspullers by suggesting the shitpissers could ever beat them!

Literally listened to George Carlin say almost the same exact thing last night on YouTube.

      Also, very sombering.

I always thought athletes thanking God wasn’t humble or endearing in but just arrogant and off-putting.

So much vile and evil shit all over the world, yet he took time out to help you throw a ball around?

    GTFO

I say if your team wins, and they give credit for the win to God, then they should be disqualified for cheating.

If a team uses drugs to win, that’s cheating. Why isn’t divine intervention?

A great example of uniquely 'Murican arrogance.
