He couldn’t have used a clean rag to wipe his face? Reminds me of a gross story a guy I used to work with told. He apparently had a jizz rag he kept in his car. I’m not sure why he couldn’t just wait until he got home, but whatever. Another guy got in his car all sweaty and used it to wipe his face. He was pretty disgusted when he told him what it was used for.

In my opinion free will is an illusion but that doesn’t mean universe is predetermined. Determinism and fatalism are not the same thing.
The only caveat here is that sure, for someone like Laplace’s Demon it is effectively predetermined.
