… Didn’t this guy once try to, you know. over throw the US?

Yes. Yes, I’m pretty sure that was him. Hard to get a look-alike when you’re a giant orange turd.

Yeah what was Biden thinking when he tried to overturn a fair election by rilling up a group of his supporters (who had already erected a hanging stand) to go to the capital to stop the certification of a federal election to fight or they wouldn’t have a country anymore. They go break into the capital and prevented the certification for 3 hours by making congresspeople fear for their lives. And during those 3 hours instead of calling in the national guard to disperse and clear the capital of the violent protestors Biden calls state DNC officials and leaders to try to send illegitimate electors to use to prevent certification. If Congress wasn’t worse than useless he should have been in prison the next day.

Whoops, that wasn’t Biden that was Trump and the GOP.

Accusing their enemies of the things they are in fact doing themselves, to steer public focus and create a smokescreen, is a typical tactic of the extreme right. It´s the fake/alternate news tactic.

The whole point is to project anger and fear into others. Once imprinted into the ignorant folk’s minds it will stay regardless if they learn it was a lie - the fear and anger become ingrained. Putin knows this too, and is using it effectively to destabilize the US and other countries - he has found it a a very efficient alternative warfare tactic that can be used openly against the US.

Agreed and he does it in the EU also, just look at the success of right and right-extremist political parties all over the continent.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Trump’s campaign stops came three days before Super Tuesday, with elections in 16 states, including North Carolina and Virginia, where thousands of enthusiastic supporters gathered for an evening rally in downtown Richmond.

While the former president has successfully harnessed his legal woes into a powerful rallying cry in the primaries, it is unclear how his message of grievance will resonate with the more moderate voters who will likely decide the general election.

“I stand before you today not only as your past and hopefully future president, but as a proud political dissident and a public enemy of a rogue regime,” Trump said, railing against what he called an “anti-Democratic machine.”

As he focuses on the general election, Trump has painted an apocalyptic vision of the country under Biden, particularly on the topic of immigration, which was the animating issue of his 2016 campaign and which he has once again seized on as the U.S. has experienced a record influx of migrants at the border.

On Saturday, Trump conjured images of Biden turning “public schools into migrant camps” and “the USA into a crime-ridden, disease-ridden dumping ground, which is what they’re doing.” He also spoke at length about the murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student whose alleged killer is a Venezuelan man who entered the U.S. illegally and was allowed to stay to pursue his immigration case.

Studies have found native-born U.S. residents are more likely to have been arrested for violent crimes than people in the country illegally, but Trump has seized on several high-profile incidents, including a recent video of a group of migrants brawling with police in Times Square.
