But honestly, I would expect any creature with blood oxygenated via hemocyanin to see a red purple, or maybe a blue-violet if they were feeling a bit gaspy, not the green of copper(II) salts or verdigris. But what do I know, lol.
You are right, but in the Trek universe, the dark green Vulcan blood is explained by their hemocyanin. I don’t make the rules.
