So the onion isn’t satire anymore, they’re just telling it like it is.
Reality is so horrible that we can only laugh or go insane.
I don’t know; the Bible has some pretty gross stuff in it. Maybe not reading it is a good thing.
*observes behaviour of modern non-Bible-reading Christians

Found a pot leaf someone pressed in the family bible we inherited when Ms. Bunnys mom died.
That was a good laugh
The best satire holds a mirror up to reality and looks at you expectantly.
Horrible reality?
Do you have any idea how many heirlooms get passed down but never actually used?
I mean, the old wooden skis on the wall are a different thing, right?
I don’t really think not reading a book that’s passed down is a horrible reality
people that claim to be adherents of a religion should read their religion’s holy texts.
And anybody who sits down to read it, whether they’ll admit it or not, will find that it’s a tedious, poorly-written fictional book full of lies (because we’re supposed to believe it’s nonfiction) that’s also full of contradictions.
So the fact that people don’t want to read it does not make them heathens. They’re sane because sane people don’t enjoy giving themselves headaches.
That’s a good one
Gotta keep that tradition alive, let’s go for 6!
