Would be cool if there were actually any games for it. This generation has probably been the weakest in history with regards to games releasing way too late in the generations lifespan.

Like, why does a PS5 Pro need to even exist when developers are barely making use of the default PS5 hardware?

The worst part is you look for new games and it’s all shit.

The majority on the PlayStation store is always shovelware or a PS1 “classic” that gets called a PS5 game with PS2 graphics. With a smattering of ports of PC games being sold at full price despite being a couple years old.

Like, that King Arthur game is tight, but I bought it for like $15 on PC 2-3 years ago. There’s no way I’m ever praying $40 for a PS5 port, even if it was a perfect port with zero issues. Which I don’t think has ever happened

The problem was backwards compatibility with PS4. There has been a lot of games for PS5, but they catered to PS4 capabilities so devs could make more bank.

      When ps6 comes out I hope it’s a cleaner break from ps5.

There haven’t really been that many PS5 games. Even removing backwards compatibility, which is NEVER a problem, a lot of PS5 games are just ports/refreshes of PS4 games.

There’s been lots of games this gen, but they would be mostly exclusive if it wasn’t for ps4 compatibility being added.

I would rather spend that money to upgrade my PC. Sony releases all the good stuff on steam anyway.
