Strange because on most other deleted things it works fine. This makes no sense as you shouldn’t get the thing from the Api, so its kinda strange. Connect doesn’t cash all of lemmy.

I’m not sure whether this is an issue with Connect or with Lemmy. You point out that Thunder has the same bug, and I can confirm that Eternity and Sync do as well. Boost and Summit show the comments as deleted.

Those example links show no comments for me, but I may have blocked the offending profiles

I came to realize that this might be a federation thing. The comments where seemingly not deleted on all instances, wich would mean the delete mod action didn’t federate correctly.
