I feel conflicted about players betting on games now that almost every sports league in the nation is sponsored by DraftKings or another sports betting agency. On the one hand, the integrity of the game does matter, especially when a player might bet on a game that they can influence. On the other hand, you have whole stadiums and every sports channel BLASTING betting ads at you at least once every commercial break, and I can definitely see where that would influence your decision-making.
Man, the Porter family is the worst combination of unlucky, injury prone, and self destructive. MPJ’s injuries, Bri and Cierra’s injuries, Coban with the DUI/Vehicular Homicide, and now Jontay with a betting scandal.
How many have gotten away with it?
the sports books do have a vested interest in spotting this stuff, that’s how Porter was caught. maybe an isolated bet here or there would be missed but I’m guessing any regular fuckery would be noticed pretty quickly.
Oh yeaaaaa I’m sure they NEVER EVER do any insider betting. Nope. Never. Not even once.
