They are all actors, so do you think they will go on hiatus while the strike is active?

    They are all SAG-AFTRA members as far as I know, and LoVM is a covered work so anything related to the show is likely on hold including con appearances (though it’s an animation work which seems to be in a grey area based on what I’ve read on SAGAFTRAs website). The stream though is not a covered work so can likely continue (and since they all need to make a living I would assume they will continue).

      Good point on con appearances. I just saw Felicia Day post that her SDCC appearance has to follow SAGAFTRA strike and they won’t discuss anything related to TV/movies. I wondered if this would impact CR’s SDCC appearance as well. But if as you said, animation is not covered, then I think they should be ok?

    They’re all actors, and I think they’re probably part of SAG-AFTRA. However, the strike is for their labor dispute with the studios/producers. Critical Role is its own thing, and should be fine.
