It’s the old, old story. Droid meets droid. Droid becomes chameleon. Droid loses chameleon, chameleon becomes blob, droid gets blob back again. It’s a classic tale.
One might say it was a… Year of Hell.
That was when they were in Krenim space with Mr. Foreman mucking about with the time line, right? There’s something that bugged me about that because the end of the story, time is basically put back the way it should be and the Year of Hell never happens… Except that they mentioned it in an off-hand conversation in a later season. How would they have known if it technically never happened? Are the ship’s logs impervious to temporal manipulation?
Chalk it up to one of those “unaffected at the epicenter” “timey whimey” moments and…
