May want to check your file. After 12 seconds, it blanks out until 1:22 and continues the normal scene.
For freak’s sake! … after all that work and trying to upload it and find new settings and new hosts and new setups to try to get a simple video up … I got screwed by a video render that had an artifact in my edit … fixed and reuploaded using catbox … it’s no wonder there aren’t that many new video memes out there

Unfortunately that just happens sometimes. Gotta rewatch it really closely a few times after rendering. Good job, BTW. I enjoyed it :)
It’s really nuts when you think about it. I just rushed through it not wanting to spend too much time making it … after all it’s only 13 seconds. I wanted to make it short on purpose because like you said, the longer it is, the harder it is to upload and host. In the end I think it ended up taking an hour … to make a 13 second clip!

No worries. This sort of thing is part of what deters me from even trying my hand at that branch of memery. Also, the sneaking suspicion that I might like it too much.
It’s experimenting and testing on my part … It feels like the early internet … people are trying to figure out how to create new meme videos and it’s all a mess right now … I’m really hoping that someone will figure out a better system for video on Lemmy … in the meantime, hopefully it won’t cause too many seizures.
