You can joke about literally anything.

I like to use the example of William Tell the Swiss folk hero. A huge rich history there to unpack, but most people only know the famous story of him shooting an apple off his sons head with a crossbow. All that history and world shaping actions but people only really know the apple story.

Why is this relevant? Because nobody would repeat the story and you would never have heard the name if he had to shoot the apple off a tree stump, jokes are the same. You can joke about fucking ANYTHING but if you want to balance your jokes on sensitive subjects that might fuck your career up… Dont miss.

It’s more like Larry David has built his recent humor around being PC.

“the extreme left and PC crap is killing comedy.”

No Jerry. You’re just not funny. There is a difference.

Jerry has been very funny throughout his stand-up career. Unfortunately he’s really out of touch these days because he’s from 3 generations prior, and hasn’t had exposure to society as it changed because he’s thoroughly insulated by his hundreds of millions of dollars.

I specified his stand-up. You may not find it funny now, perhaps because it’s no longer a fresh new style of comedy, and there are a lot of derivative artists, but millions of people found him to be very funny for a very long time.
