      So what’s the difference that it works for you and not me? Is it due to phone model? I use nothing 2.

        Idk to be honest. I’m not a developer. I just thought reporting it works for me might help narrow the problem down

        Do you have the 8gb of ram version? The passing phones in this thread seem to be 12gb, while the failing phones seem 8gb. The bug might be using too much ram.

        (I am a sw dev but not a boost or even android dev)

        The ones that aren’t crashing seem to be Samsung phones, weird ???

        Galaxy Fold 4 & 5, A50,.my S22u all work as reported in here.

    Works for me, Samsung S22u, all up to date, Boost 1.0.12 (15) logged in via Solr.punk id

    And she’s very lovely too boot :)

    Crashes for me too, same app version.

    I’m wondering if this app is still being developed? Maybe I’ve just lost track of time, but it feels like a long time since there’s been any updates, and I’m on the beta branch.

    I’m grateful for its existence at all, it’s the best Lemmy client by far, but Lemmy is adding new features over time and such, and I wonder if Boost’s development is proceeding behind the scenes or not…
