          Hover Flies are often mistaken for bees. The eyes are a decent giveaway (files have huge eyes that basically cover the whole head, looking sorta like a motorcycle helmet), plus bees tend to be furrier and fly a little less gracefully. If you get a closer look, bees have 4 wings, flies have two.
