      The story in the novel was an allegory for the internment of Japanese Americans during the Second World War, and was inspired by George Takei’s experiences during that period.

      Surprisingly wholesome, too.

    Awww… Quark wrote a book about himself as the main character. I can’t tell if that’s endearing or sad. At least the subject matter is serious. Wonder if it’s any good…

      If I played a Trek character, I would write a 10-novel series with my character as the main.

      And not some 60K-word/200-page things either. They would be monster tomes that would put GRR Martin to shame (especially, since I would finish mine).
