    Cool but would it still have its propulsion on when firing? Did they have that good of aim to fire while moving?

      Its FCS was more than capable of hitting things on the move. If you’re interested read up on how it worked, you had to hold down a switch when you wanted to fire but the guns would only fire when the gyroscope deemed the ship to be level.

      Moving and firing was trivial post war

        Follow on from this (someone please correct me)

        • the guns fired slightly after eachother to reduce the shocks on the structure

        • firing directly ahead has to be done with caution for the same reason

        • the (modern) radar tracks the rounds in flight to improve accuracy on subsequent shots.
