I opened the vent for the bathroom all the way the day before and kept the door closed so the AC could help chill it.
I think next time I’ll try a drywall mixing paddle instead of a paint mixer, but with plan on just using this pvc pipe again, it worked pretty good.
I don’t think I had enough water the first few washes, the filters do slowly clog up if you don’t rinse them fast enough. So I had a few spills from the filters not allowing water through and it spilling out.
All in all, fun and I can’t wait to weigh it to see what I got! But yeah definitely need to try and make it less physical next time.
Dumb questions: Why do this and how does one consume it? I’ve had hash and edibles and I’ve used rolling paper, spoon pipes, and other glassware for bud, but I’ve never heard of this.
This is just another form of hash really.
My specific reasoning in these plants were, there was no way I was going to trim them, so it was hash or edibles, I’ve got no need for more butter, so I thought I would try something new.
You would consume it like you would hash/kief, dust it on a joint, layer it in a bowl, smoke it straight up or even turn it into something else like rosin with a heat press.
Its called bubble hash since it’s supposed to bubble under heat from its purity due to the collection method.

I believe he intends to press it into live hash rosin. The gold standard of dabs, in my humble opinion. I think he also plans to make his own carts and smoke them that way (if this is the same guy I saw post the other day). He’s doing the Lord’s work.

I don’t think I’ll get enough to warrant making carts this time, but yeah that’s the goal. I’ll still try to make rosin, and depending on how much I’ll decide to decarb it or just blaze it.

A dab you need a specialized rig. You heat up a glass “pot” with a torch and drop your rosin/hash in and the heat instantly vaporizes it.
Yeah carts is short for cartridges, they are called 510 carts specifically for their thread pattern. You screw it on a battery that looks like a pen and discreetly puff almost anywhere. I don’t condone doing it inside bathrooms though, don’t be that person.
The carts are new, I think dabs are akin to the ol hot knifes, but you use concentrates instead of bud.

I mainly do edibles these days bc of my old asthmatic lungs. Hemp derived Delta 9 is legal in my state for now, but they’ve been talking about closing the loophole that allows it. Some long weekend car trips may be in my near future.
Dabs are INSANE. The first dab I did was shatter (translucent, super hard, ultra sticky resin) and one single hit made me lose the feeling of my body below the neck. It’s like smoking a whole big bowl in one hit. I can’t get that high anymore, the anxiety will give me a panic attack. It was awesome at the time, though!

To be fair you can buy a washing machine that does the hard work for you for pretty cheap.

The plant looked okay, I just tossed it in the compost bin before they picked it up this morning. You can use the left overs to make edibles still I’ve heard, just gotta dry it really carefully.
That was from two crappy autos, I got 5kg wet from my last two plants… 2 sisters to cut down in two weeks too, the autos should have finished around that time.
Aeroponics and a decent light, I specifically got one with R FR and UV wavelengths.
