That cop clearly said “mackeral.” I’m not sure what it is, but it’s not a mackerel. Maybe it’s a town in Alaska!

I imagine that much LSD would be expensive as fuck. Don’t the doses come on tiny little squares of rice paper?

Yeah, LSD dosages are measured in nanograms. 99% of what you consume when taking acid is paper.

LSD dosages are measured in micrograms, not nanograms (1,000x smaller).

A single dose of acid is ~100μg

That’s ten million doses to the kilo though. I have no idea what the current cost of LSD is, it used to be 5 euros when I bought it last (dating myself here), so 100 million bucks to smack someone KO as a conservative guess…

              Still €5 a stamp afaik.

With the current inflation it could’ve been 50 by now and you’d still be referencing just a year ago.

You can measure anything in nanograms, but a typical LSD dose starts at about 100ug with the threshold at about 25ug or so. Still not much, but not what you’d usually measure in nanograms.

Seeing these cops illustrated in power stances makes me glad I never got into comic books.

When you think about it, superheroes are really just cops. I mean they love violence and are always vigilant to protect the status quo.

Super heroes are a lot of things. Some are “cops”, some are individuals just trying to do good in the world. We heroes more than we need cops.

        We definitely don’t need vigilantes.

The difference is that superheroes actually try to help and be heroes.

If they didn’t, they would be classified as supervillains.

Playing the modern Spider-Man games made me realize this. Spider-Man is literally just a young, naïve cop wannabe who sees good and evil in a disturbingly black and white way.

They are worse than cops. They are glorified for being vigilantes, who have no protocol or rules to observe.

Lol there have been plenty of counter culture anti-authority comic books. A single panel of police in, what are probably, just stock poses the artist had reference already handy for surely can’t ruin an entire medium

You can’t make those marks without positraction, which was not available on the '64 Buick Skylark!
