Photos from the city of Sudzha in the Kursk region have emerged! The pictures clearly show the blue building of the Russian prosecutor’s office, where FSB agents are meeting, and the red building of the pension fund. The enemy reports in panic: “Ukrainian artillery is chaotically ironing the town of Sudzha - houses are smashed, power lines are destroyed, but the population still remains.”

90% of residents of all 4 settlements of the Sverdlikovsky village council of the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region were evacuated

They “left their homes due to the worsening situation,” the head of the village council, Pyotr Zaychenko, told RIA Novosti.

It’s extremely weird to see the horrors of war [my team, so bad] set against the horrors of war [their team, so good].

I’m trying to imagine the equivalent, and all I can think of is people posting 9/11 jokes at the height of the slaughter during the Iraq War. Although, I’m sure there’s a ton of Gaza war-porn the Israelis are nutting off to in between very sobering remembrances of the victims of October 7th.

What a load of irrelevant whataboutism!!
Where are the civilian casualties on the Russian side?
You are insane comparing this situation to the constant shelling and missile attacks of Ukrainian cities for 2½ years, with massive civilian casualties.
There is only 1 guilty part in this, and that is Russia. So yes your side is the bad one.

If they didn’t want war on their border maybe they shouldn’t have fucking invaded their neighbor.

You think civilians in Sudzha got to decide what the Ministry of Defense in Moscow get up to?

Did they poll the city first before bombing it?

So you’re saying side a, good guys aren’t allowed to fight the war in a way that helps them win. That makes them bad. Us rooting for them also bad.

Side b, the ones who invaded originally and started the war AND could end at any time by fucking off. Those guys. We ought to not root against them, that’s bad.

If winning is all you care about, then you’re not a good guy.

the ones who invaded originally and started the war

Americans nuked hundreds of thousands of civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki talking like that.

Looks like the whole town was displaced and their homes and livelihoods demolished.

My bet is that those houses had things other than civilian purposes, because Ukraine has not gone for civilian targets, like the Russians do. But I hope they do this a 1000 times worse to Moscow. And then it will still not be as bad as what Russia has done to Ukraine.
But maybe it will be enough for Russia to go home.

PS AFAIK this attack was allegedly supported by RUSSIAN troops, that have formed a resistance.

The excuse for every civilian bombing.

LOL turns out the bombing in the area was done by Russia, so as I said, Ukraine didn’t shell civilian targets.
Russia doesn’t give a shit, including about their own population and soldiers.

Targeting enemy agents is fine. So far Ukraine has tried not to hurt civilians. That includes Russians. However when civilian buildings and infrastructre are used for military purposes, they become legitimate targets.

Lets see what happens when Ukraine takes a larger Russian settlement.

Its war. You can line a hundred infants against a wall and run them over with an MRAP and who is going to stop you? For all the horror of the Ukraine/Russia war, it pales beside the psycho shit happening in Gaza. But “its actually fine and good to kill civilians if you stamp ‘enemy combatant’ on the corpses when you’re done” is the same stupid shit Americans did in Iraq in between civil wars and ethnic cleanses. It wasn’t any better then than it is now.

Lets see what happens when Ukraine takes a larger Russian settlement.

Literally the same thing that happens when any enemy army takes a rival’s territory. Pain, terror, and senseless brutal deaths.
