Not sure where the official announcement of this happened, but videos and discussions of the game are now finally allowed. The game is still invite-only, but expect to start seeing it all over the place now. Popular streamers are already jumping into it.
Finally.
Hopefully there isn’t an increase in toxic players… >.>
Still have to get an invite.
And I’ll just keep friendship-dancing to establish good vibes in the lobbies.
Send me a DM with your generated quick invite link to get me added to your friends and I’ll submit your user for an invite.
I was saying the invite system is still in place.
I’m already in, hence how I’m able to friendship dance in the lobbies :D
I hate being a downer but this is a MOBA. It’s going to be toxic.
I can’t wait to hear the latest advances in racial slurs.
My biggest hope is that it’ll have support for community custom servers. If it does, then there’ll be a refuge from the toxicity; but if they don’t then I have no interest because yeah, it’s gonna be super toxic.
Playing Dota 5v5 in-houses were some of my fondest gaming memories. Playing Dota random queue matchmaking were my most miserable times in gaming.
I know lol. Couldn’t you hear the sarcastic tone in my voice? ;D
Yeah, I have a feeling I’ll probably be turning voice comms off soonish.
I turned them off on the first game 😓. Honestly the pings are good enough, though I wish there were more options like “Behind you!” or even clock directions.
Yeah, they definitely need some way of communicating better without voice, but I’m sure that’s a lower priority right now.
