I want a sub that I can ask questions about myself and my sexuality too, but this app is so damn small compared to reddit that I don’t know where to look/cant find anything. Where can I go to ask deep/interpersonal questions like this?

Blahaj is very much a queer friendly instance. Mostly trans folk, but imho you will get a good response there.

Also, feel free to DM me if you want. I went through a lot of therapy to be okay with my sexuality, happy to discuss whatever privately if you would like :)

Edit: Cuz you seen to be asexual, perhaps [email protected] ? <1k subs unfortunately so maybe a bit dead, but worth a shot.

Just make sure you’re not combative on blahaj, the mods are very protective in a mama bear sort of way. 🥾

Being that the community is rather small at the moment, a lot of people just browse by new and see what there is to see (that’s how I got here). I don’t believe I’ve seen any particular community exclusively for generalized questions about oneself/ones sexuality, but there are plenty of specific communities to various sexualities as support communities.

I know there are a few verrrry small groups for asexuals, as I’m a part of them.

If you’ve got a thick skin and are willing to pick through the asshole responses then this sub will tend to get you the most feedback… but a good deal of that will be hot garbage - otherwise the more niche subs should help filter out a lot of the assholes - blahaj tends to be pretty aggressive about killing trolls in particular, because, honestly, we get enough of that shit in real life.

It’s not busy but Ask Lemmy NSFW is pretty nice, open-minded and certainly hard to shock.

But you’re supposed to make that stuff up! We can’t tell you about it.
