How will you make groceries more affordable… We will add a 10 or 20 percent tax on imports… that wil surely make everything cheaper. The Dems should be putting this front and center.

That will make groceries more expensive not less.

No. A losing campaign looks like 2021-01-06. That’s what a losing campaign looks like. It ain’t over until the fat lady sings. Republicans are disenfranchising known Dem voters, making it hard to vote for people they suspect won’t toe the line, and have people out singing the praises of alternative Left-Wing candidates to everyone who will listen, taking advantage of the ‘the Left has to fall in love, the right falls in line’ factor. Check your registration. Check the last day to register and check your registration again on that day (at least, I’d check weekly until the last day). Make sure your address is correct and you have the proper things to jump through flaming hoops and moats filled with crocodiles because Team Pepe WILL throw that shit in your way. And make a plan to vote. You got to get your vote for Harris (and nobody else other!) locked in on or before election day. Deliver a resounding no to Team Shitgibbon!

We said that in 2016 too.

    Oh, how we laughed.

    Ha! Ha!

We should laugh. It’s better for our mental health. It deflates their image in the eyes of those who share our laughter. And it drives these shit heads even more nuts, making them act even weirder, and making us laugh even louder

What we mustn’t do is get complacent. We need to push hard no matter how we think it’s going. If it’s a tight race, we fight to take the lead. If it’s looking like a victory, we fight to make it a blowout. The bigger the margin, the harder it will be for Trump to fight it after, and the more likely it will be that we won’t have to deal with an impossibly divided and obstructionist legislature.

Vote, and get others out to vote too.

Vote, and get others out to vote too.

Be sure to check your voter registration too. @ Vote.gov Also, you might want to register as an independent in rabidly red areas.

Yeah, a few weeks ago they were supposedly coasting to the nomination. Add to that that only like 7 relatively small states are the only ones that really matter, so you can’t really judge based on general vibes.

Adding to the self-harm, Vance indicated that the Trump health-care plan would allow insurers to resume denying coverage for preexisting conditions. Trump himself proclaimed that he would address high food prices by barring food imports—a policy guaranteed to raise costs instead. All but two Senate Republicans got baited into voting yesterday against a law to protect in vitro fertilization from state-level abortion restrictions. Meanwhile, Republicans in the House seem to be stumbling toward forcing a government shutdown because Trump vetoed their own plan to fund government operations through the November election. That’s all just in a single week.

Cripes. Remember when that was every fuckin’ week? FFS how are these cultists so goddamned stupid? Massive propaganda and cult brainwashing would seem to only go so far.

They WANT a shutdown, because then they can scream about how BIDEN ALLOWED THE GOVERNMENT TO SHUT DOWN!!! The mistake of many people lies in assuming that the GOP, and Trump’s campaign in particular, hinges on or really cares about truth.

Is it possible the GOP is attempting to defund the election so it can’t happen?

No, they have many other plans, mostly to try to create legal arguments at the last minute for why the election should happen but was illegitimate.

Basically 2020 on steroids because they have the money for lawyers already.

But also, there’s hope this is trumps last hurrah, and after this the party will magically go back to only caring about tax cuts and gun rights, like this was all a bad dream.

I think you massively underestimate how hard paleoconservatives are trying to delusionally rationalize their way out of this so they can both get the votes of the racist, violent dixiecrats, while always pretending they aren’t actually a part of the party.

They just want to get back to that again.

Oh absolutely. If his party supported drag shows (or personal expression in general), I would have no problem with his makeup choices.
