    Picked the first volume up at my local library without knowing anything about it. Was a light read and the MC is pretty dense, but mostly enjoyed it. Thanks for this, guess I can pick up where I left off

      A lot of his denseness can be chalked up to being constantly overworked and the fact that people can in fact look quite different with a few simple changes but yeah, it is a story device first and foremost here. Still, it seems like there’s a chance things will start moving a bit faster in the near future looking at the last few chapters. Maybe. Possibly.

      Next chapter gives me hope.

        True, yeah there’s not much of a story if he just knew who she was from the start. I was just wondering how long he’d continue being oblivious.

        Also thought it was wild they went right back smoking after his scare.
