The pizza does look terrible though. So this come back about dying is pretty lame.

That’s a fucking hilarious retort, but also, it’s a statement that becomes immediately untrue as soon as it is directed at an individual.

It’s a smoker’s thing. Opening a new pack, there’s 20 cigarettes all facing the same way. Find one that speaks to you, or choose the same location each pack, and flip it so the nicotine is up and the rest are filters. That’s the lucky. If you need something good to happen, you’ve got a little bit extra luck waiting for you.

I’m the wrong person to ask. I’m not superstitious, heck, I’m not even a little stitious.

I will now harass every smoker I know and ask them if they flip a cigarette.

This article is just an aggressive, vaguely AI-flavored smoking advertisement

not really… it’s a pretty good article. decently informed, decently worded, acknowledges areas of ambiguity, even includes a note on quitting.

the thing that’s probably uncomfortable is that they’re talking about a specific brand, but… it was Lucky Strike. that’s the origin. or that they’re talking about smoking, which… well, it’s something that people do, regardless of how much you hate it
