It’s a bit weird the first time it really hits you.

My moment was when we were a bit early for a holiday dinner and my mom was trying to prepare a turkey, but was having trouble stuffing it because it hadn’t thawed completely. She made a comment about the legs being a bit stiff and hard to spread, and my father said ‘Give it a margarita.’ (my mom’s favourite drink).

People like sex. Most people. Your parents likely had sex to make you.

Why do people make this weird. If anything, if your parents are having great sex, you likely have a stable happy household. People should be happy for their parents if this were the case. Good for them.

It was just weird in the 80s. A very very different era.

I was a Freshman in High School when I found my parents sex library and I read every damn one of those things, including “The Joy of Sex”, at least twice. While others were still fumbling around trying to figure out basic mechanics I was busy getting busy…very busy.

Edit: I tracked down the “Joy of Lesbian Sex” early in my Junior year of High School. That knowledge was amazingly useful until I graduated College and got married.

Parents who don’t educate their kids on Sex, and adults who never bother educating themselves about Sex are making a huge mistake.

That moment when you realise that every single ancestor had sex so you could be here posting on social media…

There’s a much more disturbing realization… at some ancestral point the line that leads to you included rape. Because humans suck.
