Rules lawyer: There’s nothing stating you must answer with “yes”, “no” or “yes or no”, thus the following remain valid: Aye, Affirmative, Correct, Yep, Yus, Nah, Nay, Negative, Nope, Yaaaa onii-saaaan~

But wait! Gay has a second (or rather first before the currently common one) meaning! I can thus answer this honestly without triggering the trap, provided that I’m in a joyous mood at the time!

Foiled your dastardly plans again, Ra’s al Gay!

I can only use yes or no once? “No” for the first question and the second question stays blank since I already used my one yes or no.

I do think it’s different, but i don’t think it’s as different as a lot of people here seem to want to believe

No it definitely is, the questions and comments here get respectful and goodwilled replies (most of the time that is) while on reddit i would get 3 comments degrading me for my choices 1 that says im stupid and should do my research 2 trolls 1 actual answer to my question and ankther person telling me that they’re better cause they know the answer. The “redditor cliché” is not so much a cliché as it is an actual representation. At least in my experience.

In short this place is not nearly as toxic as reddit is

              Edit made an addition

That’s just Lemmy being a smaller community. I’ve seen plenty of toxicity on here as well. In a way proportional to the size of the community. And especially more on some specific instances.

I really think it’s a matter of size. Especially when something gets more known and attracts people that usually wouldn’t come around.

Given time and popularity, every place ends up too crowded and full of shitty people.

For now, we are still living the good life. Just like the folks, from where Furiosa came from.

                Reddit is the Bullet Farm.

Do your parents know you’re gay?

Elementary me felt like quite the fool when I said no.

first ask any question, and then depending on the answer, either ask a question or its opposite
