North Korea has said it had found the remnants of a South Korean military drone and that any further “violation” of its territory would result in a “declaration of war.”

Tensions between the two sides of the peninsula have escalated since May when the North began flying balloons carrying garbage across the border to the South, prompting Seoul to respond by restarting loudspeaker propaganda broadcasts.

This week, North Korea accused South Korea of flying drones over Pyongyang on three occasions this month and threatened to respond with force if it happened again.

They’d have to declare peace first. They’ve got an armistice but the war is still technically active. Anyway they should focus on how many of their people are going to die in the near future when they find out how much experience the Ukrainian military has which they do not.

The amount of fart sniffing in this thread is baffling. Like 20 people all saying “umm actually they’re still technically at war” ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Technically I think North Korea is at war with the US, not South Korea. To declare war against South Korea would imply they believe there is a legitimate government to declare war against, whereas I believe they just view it as an American occupation.

Look, they’re out of missiles to shoot into the ocean and they blew up all the roads between them and the South. They’ve got to do something to get attention.

Look, everyone knows you blow up all the roads into your enemies territory, then you declare war and invade.

Also wouldn’t be surprised if a standard DGI drone would be perceived as military grade compared to their equipment.

War after sending troops to die in Ukraine and after selling their barely working ammunition to Russia. Yeah dude, sure. Whatever.

Didn’t they just blow up some railways on their side that would help get supply’s and troops to their border? Good timing

That was a retaliation for the alleged drone.

      This article is old news.

Drones famously require roads to travel. This is a real blow for the south.

Ah, you see, we received intel from China that the South’s first order of business when they invade us is to destroy these railways. Now we, as to be one step ahead as always, decided to take preliminary actions. This is how you disrupt enemy planning, watch and learn you people.

Did Russia promise to back them on this thing if they send people in the meat grinder small military operation against Ukraine?

Or is it just that time of the month again?

I was under the impression war was never officially called off there and so while no fighting is happening the war is still ongoing. If so would this be like double war? Maybe they have been under double secret war for awhile and it only is just coming to light like after otter had sex with wormers wife.
