Well we can’t have that, can we? What would trickle down?!

globally I may be one percent but not nationally. If I was though I would feel the same.

I would love to be rich but I would rather be the lowest person on the planet while still living a very nice lifestyle. In other words that being the least of us would be a good life. good food, shelter, medical care, education, freedom, safety, the whole basic ball of wax.

Depends how you define it, but by some loose definitions I, too, am part of the 1%.

And yes, tax me more and close corporate tax loopholes. I don’t care. Eat the rich.

That makes sense since the top 1% control so much money. Go where the money is. It’s so simple. “Fiscal conservatives hate this one trick”

And yet my ow truck driver a few months ago was convinced that only Trump can fix the economy. I did not bring up politics, these people are just mentally ill and can’t stop talking about this demented, old man.

Aren’t you all so sweet. Thinking that if the federal government got more tax money that it would be used on you and not on wars (moneys go to the 1%) and federal higher-ups (part of the 1%) pay increases.

Such good little boys and girls!

Part of what taxation accomplishes is taking resources away from the wealthy and putting it in public hands. Even if the taxes are misspent, so long as the 1% are getting less back than they’re putting in it’ll stem the number of people starting their own rocket programs and buying nations to turn into their doomsday compounds.

Put it all in a pile and burn it for all I care, as long as it closes the wealth gap.
