What’s there to be stressed about? We’re only about to see Hitler reelected in 2024 by selling bloodthirst to the population and have a religious nut job organization refactor the government into a one party system of blind followers. Who’s stressed about that?

    :/

Hitler had a vision, albeit horrific.

Trump is for sale to the highest bidder, regardless of their intentions.

He’s a wildcard, with the potential to be better or worse than Hitler.

      Trump is currently Schrödinger’s Nazi.

I can understand Americans being stressed about the election.

I’m absolutely stressed. I already voted, which didn’t help at all. I might need to unplug and dissociate for a few weeks just to get over 5 hours of sleep in a go

The article doesn’t even mention the most effective coping mechanisms… Phone banking and door knocking. Turn your anxiety into action!

Phone banking and door knocking are evidence-based to improve turnout and at this point the race really is just about getting people to actually vote.

Life will go on regardless of who gets elected.

In fact, if you unplug from the oversocialization machine, you might never know who won or lost the election.

Yeah, unless you are a woman in need of reproductive health, are a trans person in need of … living, a non-white person living in the US regardless of citizenship, or a poor person who is having trouble making ends meet.

You may not notice at all!

Trump could enact his proposed tariffs unilaterally because foreign policy is the domain of the president. If he does it’s estimated to increase costs to Americans by at least $4000/year. You’d have to be pretty damn unplugged to not notice that.

And that’s just one of a plethora of other threats to the nation and the world that will be hard to ignore if he’s elected.

We have noticed almost everything everywhere doubling in price. But that’s more to do with the federal reserve devaluing the dollar, which will continue to happen no matter which tribe takes up residence in the white house.
