I doubt they are trying very hard. This may be a 2/3 season long audition for next year. Only players I’d really want to keep are Simmons and Sweat, but naturally those are 2 large trade block candidates depending on price. Sweat is unlikely cause rookie and we’d be dumb to waste that contract on a trade. Simmons may be a sell while hot candidate as he is still a big name and has had some underperforming so far.
Maybe he is trying to win the tank bowl for 1 overall pick against the patriots.
Only thing we’ll win this year…
