This reminds me of my buddy messing with a girl called Justina. When she introduced herself he responded by calling her Tina and ask her if she was a pop star or something since she only went by one name.
That took me a good 30 seconds to figure out.
I didn’t see the missing L and I thought the joke was that nobody was going to call her by two names.
