Our biggest problem is the ruling class are too far removed from consequences. They murder and steal on absolutely massive scales, and no one sees any jail time.
I don’t support capital punishment. They should be imprisoned for life. But I also didn’t care when Trump got shot. I don’t care that Trump suggested a merchant of death face a firing squad. These people are not worth our worry nor sympathy.
If you didn’t care, you wouldn’t be here making this argument in multiple comments.

People can come to their own conclusion. I did not vote for Trump and I won’t defend him, but I think the people complaining are ignoring the full context.
Can they arrest him? He’s not the president right now.
They can arrest him. They should arrest him. They won’t arrest him.
He was arrested. And tried.
The courts won’t sentence him.
One might even suggest that such a death threat would violate his terms of release.
