But can we also agree that the article’s title is misleading? It seems clear to me that he didn’t literally mean “hit her”, but rather a political hit/verbal diarrhea.
Articles like these - and people quick to share them - make Democrats/left-leaning institutions look like they are grasping at straws. It’s too bad because there are so many important, real topics that don’t receive as much attention.

Your post just reads as a justification for being fooled by the title, or a justification for being outright dishonest. We can’t shut on trump supporters for being so detached from reality while trying to pretend it’s reasonable to believe he was talking about actually physically hitting her here. I’ve been “not threatened” twice in my life, and someone once tried to set me up in a way that were hoping to get me for break and entering.
