    Our state is not perfect, but it feels like a country more than a state at times. We try to deal with our problems and are willing to experiment with novel solutions. It makes sense to defend our little laboratory here against willful punishment from vindictive dictators.

      You have stuff like Prop 65 and on the other hand CCPA. It’s a mixed bag but at least CA tries.

      I honestly miss it. How about SB699, any non-competes that are legal outside of CA are instant trash if a worker wants to come do their thing in CA.

    Trump claims to be all about states rights, so California should have no issues. I guess we will find out.

    Seattle WA checking in here:

    This is the peek of blue sky amongst the clouds I’ve wanted to see! ALL free thinking states need to do this. We have two months to shore up our defenses. I’m hoping to see this type of thing a lot in the coming weeks.
