“Oh god, not this shit again.”

    45 minutes later

“But WHY does Abigail have to go to the nunnery? She didn’t do anything wrong!”

Guess who went to sleep way too late last night because I stayed to watch the nature documentary my dad fell asleep to.

As long as he wasn’t snoring, you can sit behind your dad and imagine he’s the one narrating.

Back in my day we used to make “tfw” (that feel when) or “mfw” (my face when) posts that rarely if ever contained a face or a feeling

rarely if ever contained a face or a feeling

We even added “> mfw I have no face” to address that if we felt particularly quirky !

For anyone needing a bit of whimsy in their life: read acronyms as if they’re normal words. “Miffwuh I have no face”

Sorry but you just activated my pedant mode…

adjusts glasses anime style um akshually, that is the definition of an acronym, otherwise it is just an initialism.

My wife be watching 90 Day Fiance and sometimes I catch myself unironically watching a whole episode with her. Shit is buckwild

The fact that it’s all rehearsed and refined and outlined and stage-managed only makes it slightly less bonkers. This is the face these people are CHOOSING to present to the world.

Gets repetitive after a while, though.

And then have an out-of-body experience where you watch yourself doing that from the outside.

Why would you watch yourself instead of your mother’s series?

No idea but that’s the point of view of that picture. The view clearly being my stance, not the series.

    BTW the title should be

POV: someone doesn’t know how to use POV

You obviously know how to use POV ;)

Isn’t this an actual proper use of the POV format though?

The meme implies that you are the shown kid, so of course it’s not proper use, you should be shown whatever that kid is seeing. His point of view, a 1st person view. It’s not that hard.

From what I’ve seen when it’s the pov of an animate object you use its pov, so this could be the tvs pov. If it’s a person you use theirs. Memeing is serious business so I am glad you asked

the pov format is inherently flawed because it’s almost never actually from your “point of view”
