It will get struck down in state court at which point it will go to SCOTUS and they will say this is a Christian country and make it legal.

Did you guys catch the “readings from Genesis” part?

Oh, what? Are you saying teaching rape and incest is not appropriate for children? But it’s the word of infallible god!!

    Can’t…eyeroll…hard enough.

This pisses me off so much. I fought this shit when I went to school and all of the progress is fucking gone. And they can’t even challenge it in court because Supreme Court will just mandate bibble as curriculum. Fuck Christian nationalist tiny wart dick mother fuckers.

I hope it’s not against the rules to vent. Sorry.

The curriculum doesn’t just “permit the instruction of the Bible.” They fucking tied it to funding. You get an extra 40$ per student if you fall in line.

No, no no, that’s the Catholics. These are the other generic Christian flavors. The Catholics are too structured for the authoritarians. Too many rules they can’t just choose to ignore without their fake morality trying to guilt trip them.

So it’s going to be the Ethiopian version, since adding and subtracting words is forbidden in the canonical (slavery) Bible, right?
