Saw this comic posted on /c/comicstrips << (warning: spoilers in the comic) and it seems a lot of people did not get the joke because they have never seen “The Fly”. If you have never seen it you should watch it. It’s a great cult classic!
This movie absolutely terrified me as a child. I’m sure it’s not nearly so bad as my memory, but I will not watch it to test that theory out.
I remember it’s one of my first scary movies. Definitely a good flick.
Jeff Goldblum is always a delight to watch.
But The Fly was a remake of The Fly (1958), and most of the movie’s charm came from the source film, which came from a different time in filmmaking. Personally, I think the original was the better version.
