Summary

Boris Epshteyn, a key Trump adviser during the transition, is accused by former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens of implying financial dealings were expected in exchange for advocating Cabinet appointments.

Greitens submitted a sworn declaration amid an internal investigation into Epshteyn’s conduct.

Epshteyn denies the claims, calling them defamatory. Known for his close access to Trump and aggressive political style, Epshteyn’s consulting firm has earned millions from Trump-aligned campaigns.

The allegations highlight tensions within Trump’s transition team and broader concerns over transactional politics. Trump’s team says the issue is resolved.

Is no one going to point out how hilarious this dudes name is in the context of the narratives around Trump. If SNL wrote this guy in for a joke I would call it hacky but here tf he is.

There are so many things in the Trumpiverse that can’t really be parodied because they’re too stupid. Just off the top of my head, Four Seasons Total Landscaping, Fraud Guarantee, Sean Spicer’s hatred of Dippin’ Dots, covfefe, etc.
