With a 30-24 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday night in Paycor Stadium, the Denver Broncos dropped to 9-7, failed to secure a postseason berth and now have just one more game left to win and conclude an eight-year playoff drought.

It’s going to be tough to beat the Chiefs but we can only hope that the Bengals lose to the Steelers.

Kansas City isn’t playing starters. We’ve already secured first round bye. Denver has a 50/50 shot against the KC bench warmers.

    The Broncos’ defense is legit.

Nix has shined against a largely cupcake schedule, and he’s going to have a tough time against better veteran squads heading into playoff time.

Part of me hopes they do win next week. Even though I’m a Chiefs fan, I will get a good laugh out of the Bengals missing out.
