I don’t know how you mean by “Compact”, but I use Jerboa and changed the font size from 16 to 12 and it feels better to me.
Also can change from cards to list and it almost looks like RIF

Came in to post this. I just got it today and it’s absolutely amazing. Turned Lemmy from a “I hope it gets better” to “I’m set now” sort of experience.
There is slightly modified version of the non-compact script from u/god too. That’s the one I’ve been using.
