I’m currently wearing adidas Men’s Turnaround low tops.

      I’m barefoot.

Ditto - it’s 18°C here. That weird gap that I’m still shirtless, barefoot, but my cat is already looking for her blanket.

I’m wearing house slippers. The floors are cold so plain socks are not comfortable enough for me.

    Hiking shoes

Went on a hike today, didn’t get home between then and work. Now on the way home from work and looking forward to taking them off!

They are! Great for walking. For sitting around, I prefer something more loose though. I wouldn’t normally wear them to work (even though that’s more standing and only some sitting).

No - I have worn moccasins around the house, at least in the winter, since I was a kid and make-them-yourself kits were in fashion back in the '70s. No idea how many pairs I have had since then.

I wear Sanuk Cozy Mats around the house. They’ve got that awesome heel that folds down so you can slip into them and wear them like slippers or pop them up and wear them like shoes. Probably the most comfortable footwear I’ve ever owned. Bought two pairs just in case they stop making them.

Sanuks are SO COMFY! I’ve definitely gone to the store, looked down, and realized I’m still wearing my slippers. I get through a pair o dice each summer.

They really are, I’ve totally worn mine outside by accident more than once! I had an old pair of suede slippers of theirs for more than a decade before they finally wore out. The stitching and materials are top-notch, it’s clear they care about quality.

Currently not wearing any with my feet on my living room table.

…but normally I wear these. I picked them up on the company tab (cow not included) for use at work a coupleofyears ago, but they turned out to be so damn comfortable and high quality that I use them for everything.

Protective composite toe that don’t set off airport metal detectors, and they’re ESD safe.

An old pair of Adidas slides that I inherited when my youngest stepson left them with us when he moved to live with his dad. They’re really work down and I need to replace them soon.

A pair of Lems Chillum shoes. They have a wide toe box and zero drop but still look and act like a real shoe compared to something more “barefoot”. My current daily driver.

I had a pair of “WHITIN” ones from Amazon and as much as I like the wide toe box, the fact that there was no cushion what-so-ever was a deal breaker. I am fine with a zero drop, but cushion is a necessary. When I hear the barefoot argument that “that’s how we evolved”, I agree. However, hard floors are somewhat of a new thing for humans and cushion is a necessity for me. Also, these look much cooler.

I have a pair of Whitin zero drops. I added a heel cup that gives a bit of cushion and changes it from a zero drop to like a 1mm drop. The addition made the shoes feasible for my needs and they’re way cheaper than Lems.

House shoes. Been out in the slush and salt a lot, so I can’t just wear my boots like i prefer.
