Whats with Inertial Navigation Systems? No need for outside signals. Afaik they tend to drift after a while, but a quick search says a high-end INS is still accurate to the meter at a distance of 50km (~30 miles). That sufficient to hit a group of meaty target.
Frequency hopping, direct sequence spread spectrum, ultra-wideband, cellular.
