So they’re admitting that Trump, a private citizen, interfered with US foreign policy, which is yet another crime.

Just like when Nixon sabotaged the Paris peace talks, or when Reagan betrayed the American hostages in Iran.

People need to remember Netanyahu wants Trump in power, so is going to make decisions that are good optics for Trump when he can. He similarly made decisions that are bad optics for Biden on purpose. While Biden did himself no favors, never forget Netanyahu is the one who put him in that position.

It’s so odd that the time line for this surge of fighting happened right through the election cycle. You know, it’s almost like if you were to coordinate political strategies with your allies you could find advantageous opportunities that serve each other to the disadvantage of your opponents. Except, that could never happen, right? Right? As if what appeared to be genocide was just sloppy blitzkrieg trying to cause as much damage as possible in a limited time frame.

Ok, I’ll shut up now, I wouldn’t want people to think those with unlimited resources are capable of high level strategic warfare.

I would like to remind people this conflict is decades and decades old, it’s not a democrat thing, or republican thing. America has supported this genocide for over 50 years. The democrats and republicans of now will surely, if unfortunately, continue.

While true, I’m over 50 and have never seen such mechanized destruction in my lifetime. And yes, now I’m woke to the fact that my country has supported this shit the whole time.

More like 3000 years+. The entire region has been fucked up forever. They just have had someone else to blame for the last 70 years.

Yes, the region has been in conflict for far longer then a century. I’m talking about the country of isreal, as its less then 125 years old. Zionism is the part that wants the genocide of palastine for the new state of isreal, which started a bit over 100 years ago and america has been a long supporter of.

Israel must be the worst genocider in the history of genocides, considering the Palestinian Arab population has grew from 944k to 5 million in this time, and that’s not counting the Palestinian diaspora. Arab population of Israel has also grew, from 200k to 2 million right now. Like I said the worst genocide in history, the only genocide where the genocided population grows.

Even Arab israelis are still oppressed, despite having citizenship. Arabs in the south levant are at best, second class citizens. And at worst, targets.

Not only the politicians actively express their wish for genocide, Netanyahu has actively compared palestinians to Amalek, which has been used as justification by people like Baruch Goldstein.

    Trump stops the genocide

OOP must have been fucking zooted out of his mind, no sensible Arab or person in general believes trump is going to solve anything; in fact, he will make everything so much worse.

At this point, i wish the best for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, and i hope they live to see the end of the genocide. It’s a lose-lose situation for them either way, but one way is clearly worse.

Unfortunately there was a significant bloc of Arab-American (and just anti-genocide) US voters that thought trump cared about them and their plight. It was shortly after the election when he started hiring the most genocidal cabinet that they said, “hey!” There were a lot of articles about it. How people fell for that I don’t understand—well, I do, but I wish I didn’t. People can’t think two feet in front of their faces. They got on the whole “genocide Joe” train—which, let’s be real, this admin is very much bloody-handed. But that does not make the other option better. People cannot grasp nuance whatsoever. It’s an all-encompassing problem that manifested in this way this time.

us Arabs have never been smart at politics. I’m very mixed on this issue… I hate Kamala/biden’s guts, due to them trying to act morally superior, yet supporting genocide. But i have literally no standards or expectations from that moron, trump. If i was american, i’d vote for kamala begrudgingly.

Often when this stuff happens i like to think of two quotes that perfectly describes arabic politics, lmao (both were said by arabs btw, which makes it even funnier):

“When the evil of the west is combined with the stupidity of arabs, nations fall”

“If you give Muslims 2 countries, they would bring Sharia to the first then immigrate to the second.”

I’m also very concerned about Sudan and Syria, too. The democrats were always shit like all politicians and political parties; but republicans are very up front on what they want to do to us.

jfc, i don’t know who i hate more: democrats who want to keep funding israel, or pro palestinians voting for trump. Either way, the death will continue.

Well hey, one of the reasons one might stop a genocide is because it’s been accomplished. So they may end up being technically correct on the first part.

On the incredibly infinitesimally insignificantly microscopically small chance that Trump somehow accidentally but actually stops the genocide, I won’t bother looking that gift horse in the mouth. I’ll just be thankful and move on to the litany of other problems.

Its the same with RFK wanting to legalise psychedelics in some way. Thats something that is in fact good, but that doesn’t compensate for him being not suited for this position.

I haven’t ever even broached Tibet because I don’t think I could stomach witnessing the ensuing trainwreck of logic.

It’s just so incredibly intellectually disingenuous. I got in it with one at one point (big mistake on my part) saying that no country or system is perfect, and a meaningful indicator evidencing critical thought is the capacity to criticize your own system. What, in their mind, were the top issues with China?

        1. Too much freedom in the market.
        2. Doesn’t project it’s system outside it’s border enough.

Ok. I’m talking to a rational actor. Lol.

I’ve had so many CCP bootlickers send me so many headlines about how much people in China claim to love the CCP. Tankies pretend they don’t understand that a 99% approval rating is less indicative of a populace that adores their government, and more indicative of a populace afraid to criticize it.

Part of what got me banned over there was pointing out that Adolf Hitler got 99.3% of the votes in his last election, and asking whether they reckon that was because he was just such a great leader
