“I think you know, when you work for government … at some point, your security detail comes off, and you know, you can’t have them forever,” Trump said Friday in North Carolina, where he was touring storm damage.

Says the man who will Secret Service with him for the rest of his life.

To borrow a phrase I believe may have been uttered once or twice by some conservative:

I don’t see the incompatibility between having them for the rest of Trump’s life and terminating the detail in at most a few years.

Unfortunately it is probably unrealistic at this point to hope for some motivated patriot to cap his ass. He’s too well protected. We must instead hope for the benevolence of a chunky fat mass in one or annother artery to do the job the world needs.

We don’t get to have nice things. I expect to be hearing about this piece of shit for another 20 years… The way Republicans are acting, he could be president for all of those years.

It would be more satisfying if he stroked out in to a useless twitching mass, functional enough to be awake but not communicate

Well no, it’s just another thing he had to do to benefit the American people.

This was the totally normal next order of business right after pardoning a shit load of violent seditionists which will have absolutely no effect on people’s actions when considering whether or not they can get away with more violent crime, especially if it has a political motive that can absolutely be beneficial to him.

    Summary:

President Donald Trump has terminated the government-funded security detail for Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, who played a pivotal role during the COVID-19 pandemic. This security was initially provided due to credible death threats against Fauci. Following the revocation, Fauci has arranged for private security at his own expense. Trump defended the decision, stating that former government officials cannot retain security details indefinitely and suggesting that individuals like Fauci, who have substantial earnings, can afford private security. This move aligns with similar actions taken by the administration, including ending security protections for former officials such as John Bolton and Mike Pompeo.

So I guess he won’t complain if his security detail gets terminated when he’s out of office… Since he’s got substantial earnings and all that…

Trump should be more aware that his hero, adolf hitler, killed himself. It was out of desperation because he knew he was wrong and had no escape.

I don’t knows, it seems like maybe don’t follow down that path. It seems like the most sensible thing, and the thing that would make him the happiest.
