The one thing that struck anybody having conversations with anyone involved in the Trump team, from lowly researchers to senior advisers, was the unanimity of hatred about Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour government. There was no pretence, no attempt to hide it.

I would love to see a regime change in the USA. And in Israel, Russia, Hungary…

The CIA installed fascism abroad nearly every chance they got. The CIA endorses and likes fascism. Fascism pays their capitalist overlord’s bills. And don’t think the CIA doesn’t serve Capitalism very directly. They’re who installed capitalism/fascism as the alternative to communism. The people resisting the bolshevik fascism of the USSR called themselves “anarchists” because they believed in communist ideals of predecessors such as Nestor Mahkno, George Orwell, and Utah Phillips (that whole general cohort of post WWI, pre WWII anti-fascist anarcho-communists, really) but their imperial overlords had co-opted the word “communist”. Yet here in this country we act like the only way to resist bolshevism is to go full nazi, which misses the point entirely of what the people of the USSR yearned to be free from.

We celebrated the fall of the soviet union like it meant the world over would be free, and like it meant we had won against an adversary, instead of realizing that what those people were fighting to overthrow was not a ideal, but a system. They wanted out from under a system of torture that enslaved them into subservience through violence. Meanwhile we over here act like we’re not enslaved into subservience through violence because the violence is so far away from us most of the time that we don’t see it. We just know potatoes are $3/potato, and that Kroger/Albertson’s makes all the money, and that we need a job to get enough money to have some of the potato, so we work for a company that pays politicians to keep the minimum wage low so we can’t afford potatoes grown without prison labor. It’s not that we’re free, it’s that the mechanisms of our enslavement are so vast and complicated that as long as we’re not at the deepest depths of the pits of our techno-feudal society, we might not even notice that 22 billionaires control the entire world through both soft and military power.

The 2020s have been a total rejection of all the optimism 1990s. We failed to implement that version of freedom because we were too distracted by the oligarchs’ toys. We didn’t get enough class consciousness to throw off the yokes in the moment when the oligarchs were on their back foot. Now many of us have it, enough to start a real movement, but that movement has been crushed underneath a misinformation campaign implemented by a sickly potato shaped man in a room in Moscow (a trope that keeps repeating throughout history, by the way) that seeks to prevent the sort of international uprising it would take to eliminate fascism forever. Instead of getting all on the same page at the same time, we’re disorganized. Again. Just like every rise of fascism. It’s the one weapon they have against us, keeping us disorganized, meanwhile they crave both power and order. They fuckin’ love that shit. It’s the only goddamn thing they care about.

      Anyway.

      Yeah.

Intelligence agencies will never stop Trump. They love Trump. They created Trump.

It is pretty wild. The alphabet agencies are generally built on American chauvinism above everything, you’d think they would realize that Trump is going to be the final nail in the coffin of the American empire. Just not in the healthy way many people hoped for.

Lol, as if their ‘endorsement’ would increase their chances? They got their asses handed to them this summer, and they’ve got no one to blame but theirselves.
