ASHEVILLE, North Carolina, Jan 24 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he would sign an executive order to begin the process of fundamentally overhauling or eliminating the Federal Emergency Management Agency. “FEMA has turned out to be a disaster … I think we recommend that FEMA go away,” he said during a tour of North Carolina to see damage done by Hurricane Helene last year.

Hey Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida–that’s gonna hurt y’all more than it’ll ever hurt California.

Right, but trump will tell them that’s it’s the democrats’ fault, so checkmate because that’s as far as any thinking about that topic is gonna go. They’ll vote for conservatives even harder because at least they didn’t do those things that they did, and if they did do the things that they did, democrats do it too, so might as well keep voting how daddy and the fox news said to vote.

California will send their own to help out those states, I guarantee it.

They shouldn’t. All that will happen is those shit-hole states will complain that they didn’t send more, no matter how many they send.

Or the Proud Boys or other shithead groups will demonize and terrorize anyone sent to help, including any from FEMA or California, because the qons are terrible people.

At what point is this form of refusing to help after a disaster just a more indirect form of war?

I think it’s so they can redirect all that juicy $$ to some private “disaster relief” company.

      Disaster Capitalism in full force.

Yeah, the fact that they want the RNC chair to administer disaster relief is basically a neon sign saying “kickbacks go here”
